I've followed Scott Abel for many years. Have loved all his info (podcasts, articles, YouTube videos) - this is however my first time purchasing a book of his and I was rather disappointed. It could partially be that the information doesn't apply to me. Majority (if not all) is directed to someone who needs to fix their dietary habits. I just thought it didn't go into enough detail (lots of repetition of basically the same information), it also needs to be edited - too many typos starts getting [...]

For the past two years I have read plenty of books covering the topic of disordered eating from different perspectives, offering all sorts of solutions. This one is by far the best. Scott Abel focus on the single most important factor for the resolution of food, weight or diet issues - mental awareness and shift in our own perception of our relationship with the food. I rarely reread a book, but this one I will certainly. Highly recommend to everyone that feels emotionally burdened by food.
