Delighted to visit Miki and VaanSetting the stage for the next Warlord story, we get more details of Miki, Vaan, the girls, the Warlords, a few characters from previous stories and new allies and enemies. Sounds like a cast of hundreds but most of the story revolves around 4 main characters. Miki and Vaan hold true to form, while Ramar and Vesa fight and deal with their true feelings. The Warlords have come a long way since the first book and it's a pleasure to see glimpses of their personalities [...]
What a Great Book!No doubt about it, Michelle Howard’s books just keep on getting better with each and every book! Not that they needed to get better; she’s just a fabulous author! This book tells the humorous love story between Vesa, a Raasa servant of Mikayla’s, and Ramar, one of the Warlords. The two had been together once before and while Ramar enjoyed himself, it was another story for Vesa. This stemmed from the different cultures in Kaban and Raasa, which was the first obstacle for t [...]
I just found this series last week and after reading the first one, then i went and bought all of it from iTunes. Love Miki and Vaan and the twins. Thank you
2nd time reading
I liked the story but there is a weird unfinished bit on page 102 of my epub copy purchased through Kobo. It looks like this:*** (find way for Saran to tell vaan his message is where all of kaban can see and already word flows of overlord sctions. )I only quote the first sentence but it's a whole paragraph in a paler font. Is there any way the author could issue a corrected copy?
Another excellent installment into the Warlord series and worth the read although not quite as tightly written as previous books in the series because of the multiple story lines I think. There were too many story-lines being followed to accurately express the details of each in the time frame offered in a novella. Even so, still an excellent book and worth the read.
I was glad that Ramar got it right this time and that Vesa gave him another chance. I think I liked the younglings the best though. I thought it was pretty funny that Shaina thought she could have one since Vaan and Miki have two.
too short just a bridge to the next book
i so love this series cant get enough cant wait for karvan story
Very, very disjointed.
So good. Love her books. Love those Warlords. Really looking forward to Kavan's story. Really want Shadow Warrior Justine's story too.
Enjoyed the earlier books much more, this one didn't live up to expectation. I hope there are more books to this series.
It was great visiting the Overlord and his family
