The story line had room for development. The female character (I've already forgotten her name) wasn't the most likable of the bunch. She stomped her foot like a child when upset, I pretty much gave up on the book at that moment. Overall although I realize it was meant to be a short story - the whole thing seemed too rushed.

A good story, but the length was awkward for me. Longer than a novel, shorter than a novel it made it feel like things were skipped. I think I'd have liked it better if it were either a short story/novella, or more depth given and expanded to full novel length.

A so sweet! Not what I thought it might be, but it was good just the same. Chief Gregg McKee is the sweetest and Amber is the "apple" of his eyes! LOL This is an easy read. There is humor and emotion on a couple of levels and truly enjoyed reading it.

I liked but didn't love this one like other books by this author. Cute dogs, lovely adult hot guy but very childish heroine.
