The background plot for this is very similar to that of Frank and I, except that it is set in ancient Egypt.Master buys impudent slave girl, is strangely attracted to her, experiences novel feelings whilst admiring her beauty, takes her to his private rooms, finds out that he has a slave boy, falls in love, and lust, and there is new life in the old dog and good fortune for the cunning slave boy.You could imagine the rest for yourself, or you could pick up the book and read it.The reason that I [...]
The Egyptian Slave is such a sexy read - my only complaint is that I wanted more! Mem and Toomela are not only great characters, but a great couple as well, and their erotic dance of secrets and seduction is quite lovely to behold.Mem is an Egyptian noble who is accustomed to a life of leisure and luxury. He is rude, callous, and even a little bit cruel . . . the very epitome of noble arrogance. He’s also handsome, virile, and utterly bored with the endless parade of women who have ceased to a [...]
Mem is the Pharaoh's favourite, with a reputation in is youth as insatiable in his needs, every woman desired him hoping she might be the one he would take as his wife; but he had a problem, no longer did anything raise him any passion, nothing would rouse his now sleepy member, despite his taking many a slave girl. But when he took a slender beauty called Toomela little did he realise how things were about to change, fascinated by her slight hips, boyish chest and dark beauty he ordered her to [...]
A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Erona Diane HillI was in the mood for something different, something out of my comfort zone. Occasionally, I like to explore new genres and I was intrigued that "The Egyptian Slave" was far outside of my norm. I don't usually read historicals or M/M, but I must admit, I enjoyed this little romp! The Great Mem has a disturbing problem--he can't seem to get aroused anymore. All of his slave girls can do nothing to excite him and this perplexes him. But [...]
My review is brief, so as not to give away any spoilers. The Egyptian Slave is a very short novella that telegraphed the ending way before it got there. There is very little mystery or excitement in the prose or plot, and I’m also including what little sex there is between Mem and Toomela. This doesn’t make this a bad story, just an uneventful story. If you want a brief visit to the land of the Pharaohs, this is it. But don’t expect any surprises. darkhavenbookreviews
Reviewed by Max: At 19 pages, this is a very short, quirky read set in the Egyptian era. Some of the word usage in the story was a little off. Less modern day words would have made the story feel more authentic. But overall, it was a nice, quick read with a twist at the end.B
Enjoyed the thoughts of Mem as he tries to figure out why his slave Toomela arouses him. Short but I could imagine a longer story with these two. Also liked that Alcamia did not try to put a long time period into story or a lot of action.
Short, sexy story with a slight twist. Mem's thoughts and the eventual solution to his 'problem' were fun to follow. Too bad the slight surprise at the end was given away in the blurbNOTE: This book was provided by Xcite Books for the purpose of a review.
